Bought these to use with Xmas lights and they work as they should, quiet in operation and also very easy to set up. The only minor issue is that the writing on the timer switch is so small that you really have to look very closely to see it.

Auto on/off works well, but time needs readjusting every few days
Doesn't keep time, after just a couple days I was having to correct it as it was over an hour out of sync. Apart from that it works well, turning lights on and off as required.

A mechanical timer I find to be best, because even IF you have a power outage they will still work. I have had electronic timers before but if you have a power outage they will just reset to 000000 and you have to program them again. Its fine if you are on top of it, (still a pain ) how about a vacation house say 2000 miles away ? A mechanical timer might get a bit off but stuff will still go on and off.. For me these do an excellent job - simple to operate and set it an forget it .. I would buy them again.

It took me time to figure it out, but after I set them up, the timers worked great. They don’t make noise, I have used for a month, so nothing enough to talk about durability. They are easy to set up once you read the directions.
