The APX 6.5 is equipped with a concentric coaxial tweeter: with a single point of sound emission you can achieve a consistent phase response, resulting in reconstruction of the acoustic scene comparable to a system of separate woofer + tweeters. The 6.5" cone membrane features a unique "Triple Wave" low profile for maximum excursion linearity. Concentric Coaxial Tweeter: The tweeter is ed inside the woofer with a single emission point that ensures a consistent phase response, with accurate sound stage reproduction comparable to that of a component system. The tweeter is equipped with an acoustic lens specially designed to ensure an extremely linear frequency response, even in the case of off-axis positioning, typical of in-door installations. 32mm pure copper mobile coil for high power hold and exceptional low frequency control. Optimized ing depth for OEM integration thanks to concentric tweeter and low profile basket. Water repellent treated paper cone with a profile developed with FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation technology and optimized with the Klippel Scan vibrometer. TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) ball with the unique "triple wave" profile for maximum travel linearity. Compact basket, protected by an anti-abrasion and scratch resistant coating, motor fixed with damping epoxy adhesive. High-current fast-on terminal with double positive and negative contact for high flexibility and quick connection. The terminal is equipped with a temperature-resistant plastic cover, which protects it from accidental short circuits. Developed with the KLIPPEL suite.
