I purchased this to make an environmental friendly wood polish for a wood product I then sell. It’s prime ingredient is bees wax. Beeswax is difficult to remove. I realized once I used it for this purpose I’d forever be using this slow cooker solely for my wood polish/sealant. I wanted a cheap slow cooker.I briefly looked at Walmart, Target and here on Amazon. By far, this was the best deal. I have no regrets. It has surpassed my expectations. Not only is it cheap, it has features that it’s competitors at higher price points lack. One such feature it possesses is an adjustable temp. Another nice feature some competitors lack: a see through/glass lid. And a final feature is the stainless steel exterior vs an ugly, cheaper looking exterior. This slow cooker cost me roughly the same as a drive through meal. It hasn’t failed me yet. This is so perfect for when you live alone. I hate using my big crockpot for small meals, i'm also not a big leftover fan. This is big enough for a meal or soup for one person with two servings. It arrived in great condition I used it the day I got it and it heated up and worked just like my big crockpot.The cord is a bit short.I will probably be using this on an every other day basis to cook a meal while I'm in class. It's just the perfect size to cook one meal for one person!

I didn't like this one at first because I underestimated how powerful it actually was. You have to let it "Pre heat" before dumping in your food. Once I figured that out this thing has been amazing for the small meals. I'm considering getting another one! :)

I looked for a CrockPot 2 quart, but too expensive, so I bought this.I had decided to cook less, now that I live alone again. This unit is PERFECT...it is larger than I expected. It hold 4 medium sliced potatoes, which are cooking right now, I'm making scalloped potatoes.Unlike the other brand, what also made me buy this was the 'warm' feature. The others didn't have it.

just the right size for 1or 2 people, no need to bring out a large crockpot, use it quite frequently, recommend this item for the price

Perfect size for 3 of us. It fits easily in the cupboard, cooks perfectly(better than I expected) and the liner washes up easily in the dishwasher. I love the red color too!

I have been wanting to get a mini crock pot specifically for dips!This definitely fits the bill. I've enclosed some pics in comparison to other items so you can really see the size.Love that it has a temp controller with 4 settings....off / low / high / warm.If you're looking for a great and even 'stylish' way to heat/warm your dips, this mini crock is for you!!!

In less than a week after we received it, this little wonder has already cooked 3 meals for our 3-person household: oatmeal for breakfast, a small roast for dinner, and some beef ribs for dinner. The steel-cut oats (1 cup in 4 cups of water) cooked overnight at Low. Creamy and delicious with some added sweetener, half n half, and cinnamon. The roast and the ribs cooked all day at High for 2 hours, then 6 hours at Low. The oatmeal and the roast were great, but the ribs . . . ahhhh, the ribs! Fork tender and oh so flavorful. (Now the ribs had the longer bones on them but the bones were short enough to set upright in the slow cooker; we lucked out on that, but we should have measured the cooker's depth and the rib length before buying them!) We really love that the cooker doesn't generate a lot of heat into the kitchen. Don't worry that the lid doesn't have a steam hole in it; 3 small steam-outlet grooves are built into the rim of the stoneware pot where the lid fits. This cooker isn't fancy like the big expensive ones, but it's well-designed and its 3 settings (low, high, and warm) get the job done, so don't be afraid of the low price. Can't wait to cook some chili!
