The top pieces fit better than cheaper versions you can buy on Amazon, mainly because the threaded inserts are in the right places and are threaded deep enough to not need washer stacks or shorter screws. However, the alignment pins are a little too big and I still had to enlarge the holes in the hood of my e90 with a drill. If you suspect yours are too big don't force them; they can get stuck. Use a drill. Style points for using a caliper first.The bottom pieces do not snap in tightly like the OEM ones. They rattle around. You can improve this by setting a propane torch as low as it will stay lit, and then kissing each locking tab for one second, aiming the flame away from the rest of the grille. The pry the thermoform plastic tabs outward with a screwdriver so they're more in line with the OEM locking tabs. It will rattle around less but it won't be solid like the OEM ones. I suppose you could get it better through trial and error and risk breaking some tabs with all the installing and removing.Or just use hot glue.

I have had these kidney grilles for almost 10 months now. I live in Massachusetts where the winters bring on negative temperatures and thousands pounds of sand being dumped for months on end. These kidneys, after 10 months, do not have a single chip or scratch on them. They have an incredible glossy black shine that has not faded one bit since I opened the package. Considering the price, there is no better option available.

My first modification for any BMW is to black out the kidney grilles. These are fantastic. High quality materials, solid product. Installation was easy.(Keep in mind that if you have a 2007/2008 BMW 3 series that the original top pieces may be difficult to remove because the nuts strip out. I had to use pliers to CAREFULLY break the original top pieces so I could remove them.)

Extremely satisfied with this product - one of the easiest mods you can make to your E90 and has one of the most visible impacts too! Highly recommended, especially in the gloss black finish. Looks much better than matte alternatives.

Just got this grill for my 2006 330xi. It fits just as well as the factory grill. You cant tell from the photo but it is black plastic that is painted black on the front surface with a glossy clear coat. It ships from China but shipping was quick - arrived in 2 weeks. Its a big improvement over the stock chrome grill.

These look real nice. I was initially a little concerned as they seemed not to fit, but it seems they were just mis-labeled L/R. The grill's were tricky to remove, but overall this was an easy upgrade that took only a few minutes to complete.

Definitely not OEM quality but they don't feel horrible. The paint on them isn't perfect, almost like the finish is coming off in spots. Overall satisfied with this product, will update if they every start loosing their paint or fading.

Looks absolutely amazing on my 2008 E90 335i. i highly recommend it if you don’t like the OEM thin little blades.

So far so good it definitely gives a meaner and more aggressive look to the car!

fits nice just need to drill out the center hole for the top pieces or break the tab off because it screw in anyways to hold it. good product for the price.

This is the wrong item. It’s an e92 for 2005-2008 and can’t fit on 2009 to 2011
