From the Manufacturer --------------------- The Ford Company is done with cars rather than in conjunction with aircraft, but it has also in the aviation history of their well-deserved and important place. After Henry Ford on the car market had turned its attention to the airlift. 1925 he organized and financed an aircraft competition to see what the best aircraft was built. From the winner of the competition, the Fokker F-Vlla-3M, he was so impressed that he had to construct a similar aircraft ordered.
