Dragway Tools 2 Ton Folding Hydraulic Engine Hoist Cherry Picker Shop Crane Hoist Lift with 6 Fully Rotating Caster Wheels

The concept for this hoist is perfect for my needs and for most home garage users. On the down side, it comes packaged in three separate cartons and each of them was in the typical "Made-in-China" afterthought fashion. This results in products (especially heavy ones) arriving with more than a few scratches, dings, and bruises to the point of exposing bare metal in several places. I bought a fresh can of RAL 3001 to deal with those. Also on the product side, is a flimsy single sheet of paper with a barely readable exploded view and no other instructions. It does not mention for example that you need to load hydraulic fluid and while that might be the norm for such products, it should not be beyond the manufacturer's capability to describe the fact and provide a "how-to-fill" page in its so-called documentation.More problematic was the absence of a single 3.5" caster wheel (one of a set of four), an essential component without which the hoist is unusable. Needless to say, the swivel caster is made to completely non-aftermarket specification so you won't find anything like it on Amazon or any other caster wheel specialist web sites, due to the mounting hole configuration of its plate.So, I called the seller's (Craig Affordable Tools) customer service department asking for a replacement wheel. They were appropriately apologetic and committed to sending me a wheel right away. I asked how they intended to send it, they said it would be USPS (unlike the UPS service used to deliver the product's three cartons). I implored them to use UPS again for the wheel and after some to-and-fro, the service agent relented. The following day, I called again asking for the tracking number, and after she inquired, she calmly related that "they didn't seem to have followed her instructions" and so it had been sent USPS. I'm tracking it as having been sent on Feb 4 and now 4 days later, I'm still waiting. The irony is that it took from the 4th to the 5th to go the 258 miles from Erie, MI to Chicago, and from the 5th to the 8th to fail to travel the the 30 miles from Chicago to Bolingbrook, as it continues to languish "in transit" between the two places even as I continue to fume over the inability to use a product that was supposed to have been delivered complete a week ago.

Product came quickly and in good condition. Almost no instructions. It comes with a small 2 page pamphlet where the instructions are actually wrong in a few places. No instructions on how to work the hydraulic unit. Now I am going to have to figure out how to get this thing working. Seems dangerous for them to not include precise instructions on how to work an 8 ton capable hydraulic unit!

This worked well to lift a propane tank which had taken a submarine dive after my dog dug a den beneath the tank footings. The 500-gallon propane tank weighs up to 3,500 lbs. This crane was plenty strong enough to do the job.

I like the construction and all the worlds were very good very easy to use

It came with everything.It Even had a few extra parts.It differently got the job done .

Will return ups does not find third box, need the hydraulic, as is it is useless...
