I'm 5'10" 182lbs 42" chest and a 34" waist. The medium fit me like a glove. As for the material it's polyester so you get what you pay for. It's not gonna sit on you like a proper waistcoat but it's festive for a holiday party and will look good in pictures to make that special someone in your life happy.
