Bob RossLandscape Brush Set, Oil Based Painting Tools, 12 pieces

These are very well made brushes and seem like they should last a long time. Expensive but good. You get what you pay for.

Great brushes, only brushes I will use, thanks Bob!

I bought this set so that I could follow along with the Bob Ross series to learn the techniques and in this case using the same tools as Bob Ross is using in his series. Am developing my skills using the knives (see mountains) to create the mottled snow look along with the various fan brushes to create trees and black handled brush to add flowers on trees, etc in the wet on wet techniques I think if I’m going to oil paint scenery “well” it’s essential that I start with the right tools and this group seems to have them all. In the future, I may buy a more expensive Bob Ross boxed kit but for my first painting (since art class in high school 40+ years ago lol) this was perfect and essential to my leaning and developing my skills. Recommend at a minimum everyone buy the Bob Ross paint set (about 12 colors - see my review), Bob Ross liquid white (see my review, the Non-toxic thinner substitute (Eco-Solve - see review) and this tool set of course. Getting the technique down with some of these tools can be a challenge but there are plenty of references online on how to use them for wet on wet techniques and you can even watch the Bob Ross channel online for free using the Pluto App for IPhones or Apple TV. Hope this helps others as I’m moving to my next session. 😀

I’ve been painting now with Bob Ross paints and paint brushes for 3 years. Self taught just by watching and learning from Bob Ross. I am very happy with the quality that comes during and after I am done with my works. The colors stay vibrant and my customers are always happy. I won’t change brands unless this stops satisfying my desire. Just wish the money was going to the Bob Ross family, and not the people who stole his families name.

Well balanced I use his brushes only

If the brush wasn’t crushed after paper bag packaging and the bristles messed up, it would be great. Only avenue for correction is to return and reorder entire set. They are not a “value” with Bob Ross, inc.REVISION - all in all, I spent almost $500 on stocking my cabinet with Bob Long product. I am a huge Ross fan and have learned incredible things from the gentle man. I bought the 12 piece brush set. The #10 palette knife. Last night I was mixing color on the palette (lift and dump) and the blade cracked and came apart. Not the wood. The metal blade. To replace it is under $20. But it is of a high quality that should not have broken, as you can see in the photos. (When not broken it is the best knife I have ever used)AMAZON, If there is a remedy that you can provide to replace this knife. I'm using a cheapie now. But the kit in came in as over $137.00. I don't mind trying to contact Bob Ross, Inc. for remedy. Please help out here.

Works very nicely

Purchased these through a small business online store in Austin, TX. The same set from Bob Ross, Inc. was significantly higher. My budget couldn't afford them. So, when I found them at the Austin Store for $81.00 less, I bought them my there. No regrets! All are genuine Bob Ross brushes.
